3P has a characteristic that few companies in our region have: a workforce made up of 21 different nationalities that work together to develop new medicines.
Americans, Argentines, Cubans, Peruvians, Nicaraguans, Mexicans, Italians, Pakistanis, French, Finnish, Lithuanians and Venezuelans. Forming a multicultural workforce that 3P considers a key asset for success as a reference company in Europe, developing and manufacturing biological drugs.
After the start of the war, at the initiative of its employees, the company has activated a support plan for Ukraine through the mobilization and organization of a monetary donation campaign in collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross. The management committee supported this fundraising effort, which matched the employees’ donations equally.
“At 3P we are shocked by the attack on freedom and democracy that threatens peace and security in our continent, and we are also proud of the involvement of our employees in this matter. We could not act otherwise, because saving lives is in our DNA. We help with science to advance and treat diseases that currently have no cure and we strive every day to prolong life, ” comments Dámaso Molero, CEO of 3P.
In parallel, Laura Pina, a nurse at 3P, travelled to Poland to help refugees from Ukraine. She left Tafalla on Monday, March 14, and is already on the ground helping the refugees.
“The trip was very long, but being a health worker, I feel more useful here, helping not only the war-wounded and sick people who have had to move and need primary care,” explains Laura.
The company has collaborated with her initiative by purchasing material valued at 1,000 euros, including blood pressure monitors, thermometers, pulse oximeters and first aid material, treatments and hygiene products to care for children and babies suffering from this war. She intends to carry out her work for at least two weeks on the border between Poland and Ukraine.
