
Elena has over 20 years of experience in biotechnology and biomedicine, with deep expertise in the development and manufacturing of recombinant proteins and advanced therapies, including viral vectors (such as adenovirus and adeno-associated virus, AAV) and DNA plasmids.
For the past 15 years, she has led the commercial strategy at 3PBIOVIAN, playing a key role in positioning the company as a leading CDMO in biologics and advanced therapies. Her strategic vision and technical background have been instrumental in driving sustainable growth and establishing long-term partnerships with global biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
Earlier in her career, Elena served as Project Director at AseBio (Asociación Española de Bioempresas), gaining a deep understanding of the Spanish biotechnology ecosystem. She currently represents 3PBIOVIAN on the AseBio Board of Directors, contributing to the advancement and competitiveness of the biotech sector in Spain.
In addition, Elena serves as an adjunct professor in the Science and Business program at the University of Navarra, sharing her insights at the intersection of science, technology, and business management.
