Elena Erroba holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an Executive MBA, with over 20 years of experience in the Biotechnology and Biomedicine sectors.
She specializes in the development and manufacturing of recombinant proteins and advanced therapies, including viral vectors—such as adenoviruses and adeno-associated viruses—and DNA plasmids.
Elena began her career as a project director at AseBio, which provided her with a solid understanding of the biotech ecosystem —insights that will be key in her new role as a board member of AseBio.
Over the past 15 years, Elena has led the commercial strategy at 3P Biopharmaceuticals (now 3PBIOVIAN), helping solidify its position as a key player in the development and production of biologic medicines. In addition to her executive role, Elena serves as an adjunct professor in the Science and Business program at the University of Navarra, where she shares her expertise at the intersection of science and business.
She began her professional career as a project manager at AseBio, giving her deep insight into the biotech ecosystem. This background, combined with her extensive experience at 3PBIOVIAN, makes her a highly suitable figure to represent the company on AseBio’s Board, where she can make a valuable contribution to the development of the biotechnology sector in Spain.
